Abstract:
It has recently been 12 years since the death of a great intellectual and Basque nationalist: Jose Luis Alvarez Enparantza, “Txillardegi”. The author of this article reflects on the attitude that Txillardegi would have today if he were still alive. Pako Sudupe thinks that Txillardegi’s own nonconformism would lead him to criticize the current political behavior of the two main Basque nationalist parties, PNV and EH BILDU, for their alliances with Spanish political parties.
